Viewing the CAPA Detail Record

The CAPA Detail is displayed whenever the user selects the CAPA Number from the CAPA list.

NOTE: Click the View Task Status button in the menu bar of the record to view the statuses of all tasks related to the CAPA.

  1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab at the top of the window.
  2. In the CAPA Management section of the list, select Find > CAPA.
    Result: A list of CAPA records is displayed.
  3. Click the CAPA Number of the CAPA to be viewed.
    Result: The CAPA Detail record is displayed.
Information Description

Header

The header of the CAPA record contains the following information:

  • CAPA Owner - Displays the CAPA owner.
  • Site - Displays the site where the CAPA was initiated.
  • CAPA Type - Displays the type of CAPA record, such as Internal.
  • Initiation Date - Displays the date when the CAPA was initiated.
  • CAPA Source - Displays the source of the CAPA, such as NC.
  • CAPA Coordinator - Displays the Actor Code for the CAPA Coordinator.
  • Status - Displays the current status of the CAPA, such as INWORKS or CURRENT.
  • Master CAPA Number - If a CAPA is created as the result of the effectiveness review of another CAPA, the original record number is displayed.

Other Tasks

Displays information about currently routed tasks in the workflow.

Other Actions

Displays information about actions that can be taken by the logged on user for the CAPA record.

Print

Allows the user to print the CAPA Detail report.

Go To Details

Takes the user to the Detail section.

View Task Status

Displays the current status of the tasks in the CAPA workflow.

Detail

Displays the information entered during each step in the CAPA workflow.

Activity

Displays the Audit Trail information for the CAPA record.

Attachment

Displays any files that have been attached to the CAPA record.

Record Cross Reference

Displays any records that have been attached to the CAPA as a reference.
